Jeannie and Tim came to visit and brought us some yummy Thai food (much needed after the hospital menu) and to give love to Wren. While they were there they participated in two big firsts for Wren. Jeannie cut her nails, something Mike and I kept attempting but were terrified of. Jeannie did it without hesitation, I don't think it was much different for her than clipping the kitties claws at the farm. Then, Wren gave us her first poop! Something we had anxiously been waiting for, because it was important to her ending her light therapy, and we wouldn't be discharged from the hospital until she did. Jeannie suggested we put a smear of the poop in her memory book. Wren's diaper was changed while we all laughed and cheered.
