Labor started for us at midnight on Monday, April 21st. At first we were excited, running around, cleaning and planning and dealing with contractions. But as the hours, and then days, passed by, it was harder, painful and sad. We were frustrated and tired. On Thursday the 24th our midwife (who had been visiting us daily) did an exam she discovered the baby was breech and I was 9cm dilated, about to give birth. We had to make a hasty decision to go to a hospital and deliver by C-section. We left our house a little before 5pm, and by 6:34 Wren had arrived!
